It will evolve for a decade.

A blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah aged all in tank (as is everything here), the 2019 Vacqueyras Cuvée Vincila is deeply hued, with a terrific nose of ripe blackberries red plums, ground pepper, and Provençal spices. It’s full-bodied, light on its feet, are beautifully balanced on the palate, and is going to drink nicely for over a decade. It’s another brilliant wine from this notable estate.
Gigondas Adage 2019 91/100
Moving to the reds, the 2019 Gigondas Adage has some old wood notes as well as Provençal spice, leather, and garrigue. The fruit comes out more with air, and it’s sweetly fruited, textured, and charming, with plenty of traditional character. Based on 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and the rest Mourvèdre, it will keep for upwards of a decade.
